Some people have been wondering if Touch ID would return to the iPhone 13. As it stands, Apple has decided to focus on Face ID and will not incorporate the in-display fingerprint sensor.
How To Set Up Touch ID On Your iPhone
Touch ID is a fingerprint-based authentication feature that lets you unlock your iPhone or iPad with a simple tap. Apple introduced the first iPhone model with Touch ID in 2011, and it quickly became a core part of the company’s smartphone lineup.
You can set up Touch ID on all iPhones that support it, including the iPhone 5s and later and iPad Air 4 and later. To start, open the Settings app and tap Touch ID & Passcode.

Why isn’t Touch ID on the iPhone 13?

Will Touch ID be on the iPhone 14?
